Hazuki Kojima
Dancer at Skånes Dansteater since 2009.
Hazuki Kojima began ballet at Shigyo Ballet School, Tokyo. From the age of eleven she studied at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, UK. She furthered her training and graduated from English National Ballet School in 2007. During her studies she performed in 'Swan Lake' with English National Ballet, 'Concert for Diana' at Wembley Stadium.
Later she was part of Dance Apprentice Network aCross Europe II (D.A.N.C.E.), a two year apprenticeship program directed by William Forsythe, Frédéric Flamand, Angelin Preljocaj and Wayne McGregor. During the period she worked with all four choreographers and danced in a number of their works, such as 'Hypothetical Stream II' by William Forsythe, 'Equivalence installation' with The Forsythe Company and 'Metamorphosis' by Frédéric Flamand at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
Hazuki joined Skånes Dansteater in 2009 and has danced works by choreographers such as Björn Säfsten, Laïla Diallo, Mélanie Demers, Jo Strømgren, Anthony Hamilton, Kenneth Kvarnström, Christopher Arouni, Ben Wright and Hofesh Shechter.
During her sabbatical 2017-2021, she joined Corpus at The Royal Danish Ballet. She performed and collaborated with Ioannis Mandafounis, Kristin Ryg Helgebostad, Bobbi Jene Smith, Martin Forsberg, Tina Tarpgaard, Tilman O’Donnell, Christian Falsnæs, Frédéric Gies, Sebastian Kloborg, Christian Lollike, Tim Matiakis and Hilde Ingeborg Sandvold.
Furthermore, she continues to collaborate with AdeY as an assistant choreographer on numerous projects.
