2020 Skånes Dansteater took to the stage at Malmö Opera with a Finnish dreamteam. Some of the most successful and exciting artists from our neighbouring country create together for the first time contemplating the defining issue of our time.

The new work Transit is a franticly performed ritual, a fight for survival and change, danced below the all-seeing eye. Tero Saarinen and his creative team deliver a powerful world premiere about the alarming loss of biodiversity. An effective fusion of live music, dance and visual design. Featuring animated abstract landscapes by artist duo IC-98, who represented Finland at the 2015 Venice Biennale.

On stage was Skånes Dansteater's nineteen dancers and the Malmö Opera Orchestra playing contemporary composer Sebastian Fagerlund’s trilogy StoneworkDrift and Water Atlas.
