SWOP Dance Club

Meet new friends!

SWOP is a space where anyone and everyone 15-60 years and new to Malmö can come to meet new friends and dance together.  SWOP is a melting pot of cultures, languages, and experiences where we talk, mingle and dance together. And everyone is welcome to join.

The workshops are led by our dancers. No previous dance experience is required. The season consists of 1-2 workshops each month, all with different themes and content. You can come as often as you like, once or several times. Since the workshop has limited numbers, sign-up is required. 

We meet every other Monday at 18.00–20.00 at Skånes Dansteater.
Every SWOP is free, and so is the coffee.

Good to know

• No previous dance experience is needed.
• We start by having coffee together. Afterwards we dance in the dance studio.
• We speak several languages in SWOP, but the workshop i usually held in English.
• Our dance workshops are inclusive and welcome all abilities.
• We often dance in socks or barefoot.
