Marcos Morau is a choreographer and the artistic director of La Veronal in Barcelona. The hallmarks of his work are a strong visual design and distinctive and technically ambitious movement material.

Macros introduces you to Djurens karneval, The Carnival of the Animals, a performance for all adventurous souls from school age and up set to Camille Saint- Saëns’s classic masterpiece. Hear him talk about creating for children for the first time, where he finds inspiration and how he works with references. You also get to hear an audio described extract of the piece.

Djurens karneval is a co-production by Danssamverkan Sydsverige consisting of Regionteatern Blekinge/Kronoberg, Byteatern Kalmar, Rum för Dans Halland, Smålands Musik & Teater, Skånes Dansteater. Djurens karneval world premiered in Falkenberg, Sweden, spring 2021 and plays in Malmö and on tour during fall 2021.
